As you all know I am Chairperson for the PET PHOTO CONTEST. I would just like to give you all a heads up on Deadline, criteria, and hopefully give you a real incentive to partake in this contest.
First however, I would like to thank All of you who have already so graciously and quickly sent in your pride and Joys. As been noted by several of the members already this is definitely going to be one TOUGH Contest !!
I can say that I am sooooooo glad I don't have to judge by myself.
The Deadline for the entries will be on: July 6,2007....... So please get those pictures in soon. July is right around the corner. We will then have TWO WEEKS for all members to look at and look at again, and judge their favorites.
There will be 3 categories: 1) The most beautiful
2) The most precious
3) The funniest picture
After these are judged and the top 3 are picked in each category, then we will again Judge out of those NINE
for the TOP 3 semi finalists. Then on to the Finals for the Best of Best.
*So folks as much as all the pictures are Adorable just having them sitting or standing there, Get them cameras out and make them earn their awards!!!!!!! **and remember this is not limited to JUST DOGS and Cats. Any pets you have and love will do. This also does not have to be YOUR OWN......... It can be GRand babies, or your kids favorite PET. You may enter as many pictures as you would like also.
AWARDS you say?????? Yes, I am making up Paper Awards for the first NINE winners. Honorable Mention awards for those participating. Then Ribbons for the next THREE winners. and the Final AWARD (BEST OF THE BEST )WILL
GIVE THEIR MASTER A REAL TEE-SHIRT !!!!! Hand made by Jami and designed by Emma. please see attachment for sample.
Final judging and announcement will be in the July 27th newsletter.
So come on everyone join and and lets have some real fun with this...... Sure will put a new spin on the OLD Phrase.... "DOG DAYS OF SUMMER EH??????
